Certain operations and response groups currently supported are infrequently used or are not aligned with the primary purpose of the Product Advertising API, which is to enable Associates to make money by advertising Amazon products in their websites and applications and sending traffic back to Amazon.

The changes, described below, will help us continue to provide you with relevant and useful features to advertise Amazon products. The following changes to the API will take effect on October 25, 2011:

Associate Tag will be a required and verified input parameter in all requests to the API
SellerLookup, SellerListingLookup and SellerListingSearch operations will no longer be supported by the API
ItemPage parameter will be reduced to a maximum of 10 pages for ItemSearch results
MerchantId parameter will no longer be supported for filtering offers, variations, or search results
Merchants search index will no longer be supported
Data returned by the Offers and ItemAttributes response groups will be limited to the most frequently used attributes

This Dell Studio XPS 1640 was a very good buy. Its battery lasts a little less than three hours when browsing the web and some light work in Word with the help of Dell Extended Battery Life. All the newer games I’ve tried have very acceptable framerates with most settings at High. Om most older games such as Oblivion and The Sims 2 I can leave the options at Very High and I haven’t found any noticeable slowdown dell xps l501x.

I recently took it to a LAN party to play Team Fortress 2 and it ran beautifully with all the settings turned up to high (60fps+). My last laptop died because the CFL backlight failed, with the LED backlight that should never be a problem. It’s also super bright. I usually have it set to a quarter of the brightness and it’s still pretty bright.

If you don’t like the disk I/O speed (I think it’s fine) you can always put a SSD in this as it’s a standard SATA disk drive. There are USB ports on the left AND one eSATA/USB on the right, so you can use either one.

My laptop actually did have a gigabit network adapter (not the 10/100 listed here) but no jumbo frames support Typical with Broadcom.

ระยะหลังๆ มานี้ ผู้ให้บริการย่อ URL จากยาวๆ ให้กลายเป็น URL สั้นๆ หรือที่เรียกกันว่า URL Shortener งอกผุดขึ้นมากมายก่ายกอง แต่ที่นิยมใช้กันมากนั้น ก็คงจะหนีไม่พ้นอย่าง TinyURL และ bit.ly รวมไปถึง goo.gl ด้วย ซึ่งผมก็ใช้บริการของ bit.ly อยู่ (แต่ไม่ใช่เว็บนี้)

โดยทางเว็บ Royal Pingdom ซึ่งเป็นเว็บบล็อกที่ให้ข้อมูลด้าน Uptime และเสถียรภาพของระบบชื่อดัง จึงได้ทำการทดสอบประสิทธิภาพและเสถียรภาพของผู้ให้บริการย่อ URL ทั้งหมดรวม 7 ตัวด้วยกัน โดยการนำมาเปรียบเทียบกันให้ดูง่ายๆ

ข้อสังเกตที่น่าสนใจของ URL Shortener

goo.gl นั้น เพิ่มเวลาที่ใช้ในการเข้าเว็บไซต์น้อยที่สุดในการทดสอบที่อเมริกา แต่ว่าถ้าเข้าเว็บไซต์จากยุโรปแล้วจะใช้เวลามากกว่า is.gd เล็กน้อย แต่ว่า is.gd นั้นมีทำงานในอเมริกาช้ากว่า goo.gl มากจึงทำให้เวลาเฉลี่ยแล้ว goo.gl นั้นเร็วเป็นอันดับ 1
แม้ว่า Bit.ly จะช้ากว่า goo.gl เล็กน้อยในอเมริกา แต่สำหรับในยุโรปแล้ว bit.ly ช้ากว่าถึง 4 เท่า

In Hong Kong woman with a history of mental illness allegedly decapitated her elderly mother before leaping to her own death from the family’s 11th floor flat. จริงๆ ก็แว่วๆ นานแล้วเหมือนกัน สำหรับคำถามที่ว่า google bot สามารถอ่าน javascripts ได้หรือไม่นั้น หลายคนก็ตั้งข้อสงสัยกันทั่วถึงความสามารถที่แท้จริงของ bot ดังกล่าง ซึ่งคำตอบที่ได้ก็เป็นไปต่างๆ นาๆ ที่ว่าไม่บ้าง ทำได้บ้าง แต่ครั้งนี้เองที่ทาง วิศวกรของ google ซึ่งเป็นยักษ์ใหญ่แห่งวงการ Search Engine ได้ออกมายืนยันไปยัง Forbes แล้วแน่นอนว่า กูเกิลบอท หรือโปรแกรมดูดข้อมูลเว็บไซต์ของกูเกิลนั้นสามารถประมวลผล JavaScript บางส่วนได้อย่างแน่นอน

ทั้งนี้ คำว่าบางส่วนนั้น วิศวกรระบบก็ไม่ได้ชี้แจงเพิ่มเติมว่า ความสามารถของ googlebot นั้นสามารถอ่านไฟล์ประเภท jabascripts ได้ในระดับใด ที่แน่ๆ การพัฒนาระบบ googlebot นั้นน่าจะเป็นการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่องให้มีความสามารถและฉลาดมากขึ้นนั่นเอง จึงไม่ต้องสงสัยเลยว่าต่อไปในอนาคต บอทตัวนี้ จะสามารถทำอะไรเกี่ยวกับหน้า page ทั้งหลายได้บ้าง
