Toyota launches Corolla Altis Diesel
India : Toyota has launched the diesel variant of its Corolla sedan in India. The global auto giant, known as Toyota Kirloskar Motors Limited in India announced the launch of the highly anticipated car todayi. The Corolla Altis diesel has been priced at Rs 10.95 lakh for the base variant, Rs 12.73 lakh for the middle variant and Rs 13.75 lakh for the top end variant, ex-showroom, New Delhi. The Corolla Altis diesel is the first diesel saloon car by Toyota in India. Bookings for the car have started immediately, and the company plans to sell about 800 units per month after the launch [โตโยต้าอัลติสใหม่].
Toyota Camry Hybrid have less cargo room
There is, indeed, less cargo versatility with the Camry Hybrid. The trunk has less volume because the hybrid?s battery pack is located between the trunk and rear seats. There?s only 10.6 cubic feet compared with the LE?s 15 cubic feet.
That?s a lot of gear to fit into any midsize car?s trunk. Making it harder would be that the hybrid doesn?t have a full-size pass-through between the trunk and cabin like the LE; there?s only a small pass-through camry hybrid.
There is definitely a market for more “normal” looking hybrids. Is this the future of hybrids or will increasing efficiency demands spark a shift in automobile design away from traditional shapes?.
If the increasing numbers of hybrid and electric vehicle introductions at the major international auto shows are any indication, on top of the announced timetable for the reduction of tailpipe emissions by the U.S. and Canadian governments, it is conceivable to imagine a time — maybe in a generation or two — when the purely gasoline-powered automobile becomes a distinct minority on dealership lots.
